Most black shirts read heavy in Indian summer. The Midnight Black Linen Shirt doesn't. Cut from 100% pure European linen at 125 GSM, it stays breathable and open-weave enough to wear through a warm evening, while the depth of the black gives it a sharpness that lighter tones can't.

Why European Linen

European flax is grown along the Atlantic coast of France, Belgium and the Netherlands, where the damp maritime climate produces unusually long, fine fibres. Longer fibres mean a smoother yarn, fewer weak points, and a fabric that gets better with age instead of pilling and thinning. It also holds deep dyes far more evenly, which is why our black stays black instead of fading grey. At Tyra we weave and finish it ourselves at our mill in Surat.
